One of the few small country parish church choirs left with something different to offer……

Mellor Church Choir consists of thirty-five members, more than twenty of which are between the ages of six and eighteen.  The choir supply music for worship at St Thomas’ Church on a weekly basis, as well as providing numerous concerts, participating in educational outreach projects in the wider community, and delivering exciting concert tours abroad. 

This church choir is one of the only extra-curricular groups available to young people offering the experience of working with people of all ages.  The choir is not solely driven by the church and worship; it enables anyone to have opportunity, and completely engage in a genuinely friendly, family orientated atmosphere.  It provides a fundamental musical foundation for every individual.  The choir is a traditional church choir, however they frequently sing differing genres of music for concerts.  Youth choral music, musicals etc are just some examples.
