About Us
Mellor Church choir is a non-auditioning robed choir, affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music. The choir sings every Sunday at the 10:00 am service and at Choral Evensong once a month.
In addition to its regular commitments, the choir also tours the UK and Europe singing in Cathedrals and concert halls.
The choir works hard, rehearsing every Friday evening in Church, but also plays hard with numerous social and residential events for all ages throughout the year.
Our Director of music is Dr Tom Howling.

Where are we?
St Thomas’ Church is the parish church for Mellor and Marple Bridge. We are part of the wider Diocese of Chester which is part of The Church of England.
There have been settlements on this site since Iron Age times which offers visitors spectacular views across Stockport and Manchester and on a good day views of the Welsh Hills.
