Mellor Church Choir sing at the morning service at St. Thomas' Church on top of the hill in Mellor every Sunday.
We also sing Choral Evensong once a month.
As well as this the choir also tours Cathedrals.
We have even sung at Westminster Abbey!
We hold pizza rehearsals about once a term as an opportunity to have an open rehearsal where anybody who would like to try the choir out is welcome to come and join in. Parents are welcome to come along and see what we get up to. Prospective choristers are welcome to join in with as much or as little as they would like. It's good to stay for some of the full choir rehearsal but maybe leave at 8pm if primary school age.

Recent Tour: Hereford Cathedral 2nd-8th Aug 2021
We sang the services in Hereford Cathedral in place of the cathedral own choir for the first week in August. We were also invited to sing Choral Evensong in Tewkesbury Abbey on Tuesday 3rd August. Singing in such historic and beautiful setting was a fantastic experience for the choir. Going on tour with the choir is a highlight of the year. Accommodation was in the nearby Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford.
