This list is not exhaustive; there are probably hundreds of pieces which might make suitable voluntaries for weddings. What should be remembered, though, is that St Thomas’ Mellor is not Westminster Abbey and its organ, though excellent, is tiny: the more grandiose late-romantic French repertoire by composers such as Vierne, Dupré, Widor and Duruflé is mostly unsuitable.
